Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: October 19, 2026

We want to be upfront about how this site makes money, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and disclosures.

Links to our own products

Many guides link to printables and spreadsheets in our Etsy shop. Those are our own products. If you buy one, we earn money from the sale. We only recommend our products where we believe they genuinely help with the topic of the guide, and every guide is written to be useful without buying anything.

Affiliate links

Some pages may include affiliate links to products sold by other companies, such as binders, sheet protectors or tire gauges. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When we do, as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links on this site are marked with rel="sponsored" and appear next to a short disclosure.

Our standards

• We only link to products that are relevant to the guide and that we'd suggest to a friend.
• Commissions never change what our guides recommend.
• We don't accept payment for positive reviews.
